Female Genital Piercing

 

The piercing that we will be discussing have mix of fact and fiction behind their names and placements, but they all have one thing in common. One has to possess a biological female anatomy to wear them. Body piercing in woman is a sexual and erotic thing around it, a mix of consensual alteration and whispered control. This article is referring to body piercing done for chosen, personal reasons.

 

In modern piercing however, reasons for any of these piercing is most likely a mix of personal desire and reasoning. This type of hood piercing is done for woman having developed there clit in such a manner that the hood does not fully cover the clitoris. Hood, vertical - Clitoral hood piercing done with vertical placement. This type of hood piercing is done for woman having developed there clit in such a manner that the hood fully covers the entire clitoris. Worn with either a ring or barbell, this piercing is positioned so that the jewelry can brush or rub against the clitoris.
 

Triangle - This is hood piercing method where one places a ring so that it goes through a small gap that sits little behind the clitoral nerve bundle. This type of hood piercing should only be attempted for a woman with suitable anatomy and a trained piercing artist.

 

 Fourchette - Labial piercing at rear of vagina. This piercing is sometimes referred to as the “female guiche” due to the similarity in location to the male piercing. This type of piercing should be done if you are really into exotic piercing since the piercing is difficult to heal. And most likely made by a well trained piercing professional


Labia - Female genital piercing of the vaginal lips. This is one of the most familiar piercing done by most of the woman who really want to have a sexual piercing. Depending on the anatomy of the body, it is possible to pierce both the inner or outer labia as the wearer desires. Some women’s anatomy supports one or the other, for some women, both would be possible.

Queen Christina - Name most commonly used to refer to any piercing of the clitoral hood. This piercing can be done vertically or horizontally, depending on the placement desired by the wearer, and is suited for both ring and barbell jewelry.


Woman who decide to have such personal piercing done must also be prepared to interrupt their intimate life activities and allow for a period of healing, some of which can be weeks to months in length. Be sure to discus with your body piercing professional about aftercare before you get the piercing done and make sure you understand the proper way to care for your new piercing and for how long the care regime must be maintained.
